The Camp Magen Story

Camp Magen was formed by 3 members of the IDF special forces Brigades. Our founders include Mr Garby Retired IDF Special Forces. Mr Garby Served in the IDF Special Undercover Elite Unit spending long periods behind enemy lines gathering intelligence. Mr Garby is an expert in counter terrorism and has spent most of his career in the special security details around the globe. Mr Hamudot is Retired Golani Brigade he is a veteran of the Yom Kippur war and many other excursions into enemy territories. Mr Gardner is a retired United States Special Forces Veteran with over 30 years experience throughout the globe on special assignments as well as close protection expert to many high profile individuals He has acquired special skills including Threat recognition and specialty weapon training. Along with a supporting crew of individuals from the secret service, navy seals and close combat specialists The Camp Magen program was built to make sure that our Jewish teens have all the tools available to cope with every situation that may arise from antisemitism to the challenges of everyday life.

Our Leaders:

Camp Magen was created by 3 members of Elite IDF Brigades. The vision for Camp Magen was born because of the ever changing world we live in outside of Israel. We believe that every Jew around the world should be proud of their heritage and will not feel the need to hide their identity because of the ever growing anti semitic atmosphere. Camp Magen in Hebrew translates to “Camp Defence”. We wanted to make sure that all our camp graduates will leave us with a new sense of awareness, the tools to deal with any situation, Leadership and confidence.
